Larry Van Kriedt

Larry was born in San Francisco into a musical
family. His father was the renowned jazz musician Dave Van Kriedt
who composed, arranged played and recorded with such giants as
Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond; Stan Kenton; and many more. All
of Larrys
life has been around music, particularly jazz. He began playing
the double bass at age 9, guitar at 12 years, and included saxophone
and vocals to the list at 15. He studied jazz, harmony, composition
and musical arrangement with his father, Dave.
In 1969 his family moved to Sydney, Australia. Here at an early age he started
his professional career and his passion for recording music. One of his first
studio sessions was as the bassist in the original line-up of AC/DC in 1972.
He has played many different styles of music and has been involved with making
many albums both as an artist and as a producer and to this day owns and operates
his own recording studio.
He has written and recorded songs that have been successful in Australia, Japan,
New Zealand, the U.S., Europe, and North Africa.
Paul Agbakoba
Born and schooled in London where he studied
photography and, later, audio visuals. Attended Bournemouth Film
School in 1989. In 1993 Paul came to Sheffield to do
his M/A in Film Production at the Northern Media School.
On arriving in Sheffield Paul began integrating with
the local music scene eventually joining forces
with Alex Young on the Make It Funky night.
Paul, with Fitzroy Douglas and Steve Mckinley, formed the legendary Stepin Razor
attracting the attention of several major record companies and many Blades supporters.
1996 to 1998 were spent touring the UK and Europe with
Moloko., Pauls television
appearances with Moloko include The White room, Hotel Babylon, MTV,
the French Canal+, as well as television broadcasts
in Holland,
Switzerland, Germany and
Denmark.
One of the founders of Bok Studio, at Stag works in Sheffield, Paul works as
a producer, engineer, and session musician.
